Day 01: Arrival Delhi
Arrival at Delhi. Our travel representative gives you a warm welcome and
escorts you to the hotel for check-in. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi
Today the travel guide takes you on a morning tour of Delhi. Visit such
famous sights as the Raj Ghat, the Santi Vana and the Jama Masjid. Drive
past the Red Fort and the Chandni Chowk. In the afternoon visit the Qutub
Minar, the Humayun's Tomb, the India Gate and the Lakshminarayan Temple.
Later, as you move on, drive past the President's House, the Parliament
House, the Government Secretariat Buildings and the Connaught Place shopping
centre. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 03 : Delhi - Jaipur (206 kms - 4 hrs)
Today our travel guide accompanies you on a morning drive to Jaipur. On
arrival, the guide escorts you to the hotel for check in. Rest of the day at
leisure.
Day 04 : Jaipur
Our
travel representative takes you out on a morning visit to the Amber Fort.
Pay a visit to the Sheesh Mahal or the 'Palace of Mirrors'. In the
afternoon, the guide takes you to the 260-year-old city of Jaipur, the 'Pink
City'. Other attractions include the Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory
and the Ram Niwas Gardens. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 05 : Jaipur - Agra (256 kms - 5/6 hrs)
Today the company's representative takes you on a drive to Agra, en route
visiting the 'Ghost City' of Fatehpur Sikri. This historical city is 40 kms
from Agra and was built by Emperor Akbar in 1569. The city however, was
abandoned after 15 years due to insufficient water supply. Other popular
attractions include the Jama Masjid, the Tomb of Salim Chisti, the Panch
Mahal and other palaces. Overnight stay at Agra.
Day 06 : Agra - Delhi (203 kms - 3 hrs)
Accompanied by the travel guide pay a morning-visit to the world renowned
Taj Mahal built by the Moghul emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz
Mahal. Later the guide takes you to visit the Agra Fort where attractions
include the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and
Private
Audience. Also visit the Itimad-ud-Daulah's Tomb.
In the afternoon drive to Delhi. Our travel manager ensures your timely
transfer to international airport for your onward flight back home.
