Day 1: Delhi
Start your Palace on Wheels Tour by arriving at
the Delhi Cantonment Station to board the finest
luxury train befitting the Maharajas of Jaipur.
Departing from the beautiful architectural and
cultural heritage of Delhi amidst the luxurious
comforts of the train like- plush cabins, bars,
restaurants, salons, spa and many more, is an
experience in itself. Enjoy a tempting dinner
along with an overnight journey to Jaipur aboard
the luxury train.
Day 2:
Jaipur
Start the second day of your Palace on Wheels
Tour by having a superb breakfast aboard the
luxurious train as it arrives in Jaipur. Get a
traditional Rajasthani welcome as soon as you
arrive in Jaipur. Post lunch go on for a
sightseeing tour that includes visits to Amber
Fort, City Palace and Museum, Jantar Mantar
Observatory, Hawa Mahal, Nahargarh Fort, and
Birla Temple. Later return to the station to
board the Palace on Wheels for dinner and an
overnight journey to Jaisalmer.
Day 3:
Jaisalmer
Have a wholesome breakfast aboard the luxurious
train as it arrives in Jaisalmer. Get down from
the train and move on a sightseeing tour with an
expert guide. Visit the grand Jaisalmer Fort; go
on a camel safari to Sam sand dunes. Indulge in
sand surfing, interact with the desert tribes
and view the spectacular sunsets. Reserve the
evening for attending cultural performances and
for shopping from the bustling traditional
markets of Jaisalmer. Later return to the
station to board the train for dinner and an
overnight journey to Jodhpur.
Day 4:
Jodhpur
Start the 4th day of your Palace on Wheels Tour
by having breakfast aboard the luxury train as
it arrives in Jodhpur. Get down at the beautiful
city of Jodhpur and move on for a sightseeing
tour of the city that includes visits to the
Mehrangarh Fort, Moti Mahal, Sheesh Mahal,
Silesh Khana, Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhavan Palace
and Phool Mahal. Later return to the train for
dinner and an overnight journey to Sawai
Madhopur.
Day 5: Sawai
Madhopur - Chittaurgarh
Start the 5th day of your Palace on Wheels Tour
by having a wholesome breakfast aboard the train
as it arrives in Sawai Madhopur. Get down at
Sawai Madhopur, the gateway to Ranthambore
National Park. Proceed on a jungle safari either
in open-top jeeps or on elephants in the
Ranthambore National Park. Trekking Ranthambore
Fort is also an adventurous extravaganza in
Ranthambore. Later return to the station and
board the luxurious train for dinner and an
overnight stay.
Day 6:
Udaipur
The 6th day of Palace on Wheels Tour will
commence with a splendid breakfast aboard the
train as it arrives in Udaipur. Get down at
Udaipur and board the luxury coach that will
take you on a sightseeing tour of the city.
Visit the Lake Palace, City Palace, Lake Pichola
and Jagdish Temple. Later return to the Palace
on Wheels parked at Chittaurgarh for dinner and
an overnight journey to Bharatpur.
Day 7:
Bharatpur - Agra
Breakfast aboard the luxury train as it reaches
the beautiful bird sanctuary in Bharatpur. Get
down at Bharatpur and proceed on a guided
birding tour to the vast Bharatpur Bird
Sanctuary, famous as an abode to Siberian Crane
and many other migratory birds. Later return to
the Palace on Wheels for lunch and the further
journey to Agra.
During the stopover at Fatehpur Sikri, visit the
ruined fort city of Fatehpur Sikri. Do visit the
palaces, mosques and shrines of Saint Salim
Chisti at this fort city. Post lunch board the
luxurious Palace on Wheels and head for Agra. On
arrival in Agra, move on for a sightseeing tour
of Agra that includes visits to the Taj Mahal,
Agra Fort and Akbar's Tomb at Sikandra. Later
return to the Palace on Wheels for dinner and an
overnight journey back to Delhi.
Day 8: Delhi
Start the last day of your Palace on Wheels Tour
by having a superb breakfast aboard the
luxurious train, Get down as you reach Delhi and
head for the airport. Board the flight back home
or to your further destination.
