Bangalore is located on the southeastern corner of Karnataka state. The

The Bull Temple stands in dedication to Lord Shiva's bull Nandi. The
monolithic statue of the sitting bull, 4.5 m in height and 6 m in length,

long before the present temple was built.
» Tipu Sultan's Palace
The Tipu Sultan's palace is yet another attraction of the city. The
constructions of the palace was initiated by Haider Ali and it was Tipu
Sultan himself who finished the construction. The architectural style and
the overall look of the palace gives one the idea of the Mughal life style.
» Lalbagh Gardens
Lalbagh displays an exquisite collection of famous Botanical species. The
name Lalbagh comes from the red roses that keep blooming here all the year
long. Numerous flower shows are held here on the Republic Day. No wonder,
the garden sees a huge number of visitors everyday.
» Cubbon Park
The Cubbon Park is named after Lord Cubbon who laid the park in the year
1864. The park sprawls over an area of around 300 acres. It makes a
favourite spot for the visitors to the city of Bangalore. One should never
miss the spot.
